Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges
Departure from Marrakech, in the morning, towards the Dades Gorges. On the way we will cross the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the port of Tizi n’Tichka, making our way through numerous villages of Berber nomads that inhabit the area. Spectacular landscape that will take us to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, famous for being the scene of more than twenty films, such as “Babel”. We will continue via Ouarzazate crossing the Valley of Roses, to enter the Dades gorges, where the call begins “Route of the thousand kasbahs” Arrival in the valley of dades. Night and accommodation in Dades Valley and dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga
Breakfast at the hotel. We go to the Todra Gorges, where you can take a pleasant walk through its imposing canyon with walls of more than 200 meters of altitude, until the exit towards the desert through the palm grove of Tafilalet. Upon arrival at the hotel in the desert, our dromedaries await us to depart on a route of an hour and a half, making our way through the dunes, until we reach the heart of the desert to contemplate the beautiful sunset. of drums, dinner and Moroccan tea, you will be able to contemplate the immense sky of stars and sleep in nomadic tents.
Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Fez
We will wake up early in the morning, to be able to contemplate another great spectacle among the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara: the spectacular sunrise. Again you will go up in your dromedaries to make another route back to the hotel. Breakfast and shower, and we continue our way to the Ziz Valley. We will pass through Erfoud, known for its fossils, located in an immense oasis that follows the channels of the rivers that descend from the Atlas, with beautiful views of the desert. Various sequences from the movie The Mummy were filmed at various locations around the city. Later we will arrive at Midelt, an important town located in the Middle Atlas where we will have a delicious lunch to recharge. We will continue the road until we reach the imperial city of Fez, passing through Ifrane, known as ‘Moroccan Switzerland’. Arrival in Fez Farewell and end of our services.
