3 days Fes desert tour to Marrakech

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Monkey Forest – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, we will leave the city of Fez and travel towards the dunes of Merzouga. To get there, we will head towards the Middle Atlas, and visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. The next town where we will pass, will be Azrou, “the rock”, where we will stop to observe its forest and thus see the monkeys in freedom. Following the path through the Tizi Talghemt or Camel Neck, at 1,907 meters of altitude and where the relief is impressive since the mountains are completely bare, and it seems that they are covered in a purple coat. We will arrive at Errachidia and on the way we will be able to observe the Tafilalet massif,
We will continue the path through the palm grove of Erfoud. This is where we will continue our path by track until we reach the famous fine sand dunes of Erg Chebbi next to Merzouga. We will change the traction of the 4 × 4 for the animal traction. The dromedaries will take us into the desert to be able to contemplate an unforgettable sunset. This night will be special, in the dunes we will sleep in nomad tents (Jaimas) like the Berbers do. Before, we will enjoy Berber dinner, music and a starry sky like you have never seen before. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges- Dades Valley
After breakfast, we will go to Rissani to visit the market and its famous donkey parking. It is a unique place, where all the nomadic tribes of the desert come to supply themselves. It is a very curious visit. Then we will go to Erfoud where we will visit the fossil quarries older than 380 million years and we will continue along the road until we reach the famous Todra Gorges, a favorite place for climbers and trekking enthusiasts. We will finish our journey on this day in the Dades Valley. Courtesy dinner and accommodation at the Hotel.
Day 3: The Dades Valley – The Valley of the Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
We will leave for the Dades Valley along the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs. We will pass through the Valley of the Roses where its inhabitants make creams, soaps and rose water. The next stop will be in Ouarzazate, and there we will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). In this spectacular setting, several famous films have been shot, such as Gladiator, Asterix and Obélix, Sahara by Penelope Cruz, among the most famous. Once the visit is done, we will go to the mountains, we will follow the road, we will cross through the door of Tizi Ntichka (2,260 meters above sea level) of the High Atlas, and to finish in Marrakech. End of this experience.
