12 days Casablanca desert tour

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat
Reception at the airport and our departure to visit the Hassan II mosque, after heading to Rabat to visit the administrative and political capital, and we will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 2: Rabat – Meknes (Volubilis) – Fez
After breakfast, departure to Fez through Moulay Idriss, holy city and visiting the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis. Lunch will take place in Volubilis or Meknes. We will visit the monuments of Meknes and then we will go to Fez, where we will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 3: Fez – Guided tour: sightseeing
After breakfast, the day will be dedicated to the discovery of Fez, the oldest imperial city, founded by Idriss II, the center of Arab-Muslim culture: the mosque of the Andalusians, the tanners, the potters of the district, the Medina. Lunch in a palace in the medina. In the afternoon, we will visit different interesting sites: the Spanish-Moorish buildings, the Medersas, Nejjarine.
Day 4: Fez – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes
In the morning of the fourth day, we will drive to Midelt through the Middle Atlas. We will rest in Midelt for lunch. We then continued our journey to Erfoud along the Ziz Valley and passed a successive series of fortified villages whose architecture heralded the pre-Saharan oases. Arrival at the dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi), which houses the kasbah.
Day 5: Merzouga erea, culture and tradition
Early in the morning, you will do the great tour of the dunes in the heart of the Moroccan Sahara: the 2 oases of Merzouga, the wandering reservoir, the village of Khamlia, the MIFISS mines and the desert plateau to meet the nomadic Berbers as well like visiting the Tisserdmin oasis. Return to the hotel to be ready for the camel caravan, to see the sunset in the dunes (about an hour and a half by camel). We will spend the night in nomadic tents in the dunes to enjoy the silence of the desert with a sky full of stars. Dinner and accommodation in private tents.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges
After enjoying the impressive sunrise in the mountain dunes, we will return to the hotel for breakfast and a shower, then we will depart for Tinghir via Rissani, Erfoud, Tinejdad. We will have lunch at the hotel in Tinghir and in the afternoon we will hike in Todra Gorge before returning to have dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate via Kelaa M’Gouna: the city is known for the celebration of the annual rose festival. In this beautiful town, we will have lunch and continue our way to Ouarzazate through the Dades Valley, the Valley of the Roses. On the way, we will make a stop in Skoura to visit the Ameridil kasbah, then we will continue to Ouarzazate. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 8: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
This whole day will be dedicated to visiting Ouarzazate and taking a look at many interesting places and palaces where many famous Hollywood movies were filmed like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones. The city is known worldwide for its beautiful Kasbahs film studios. As a well-known Kasbah in the region, we will make a stop along the way to visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. After, we will continue our route to Marrakech. We arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and we will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 9: Marrakech – Cultural Tour: Sightseeing
After breakfast, the whole day is dedicated to visiting Marrakech, “The Pearl of the South”, founded in the 11th century. The morning visit to the Koutoubia, the Saadian tombs, the Menara gardens and the Bahia Palace. I return to the hotel for the lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the souks, the Medina and Jemaa El Fna. In the evening we have dinner in a Moroccan restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Marrakech – Essaouira Beach
We leave for Essaouira early in the morning. Upon arrival, we have lunch. In the afternoon, we take a city tour and discover alleys in the medina of Essaouira, an old Portuguese fort known for its handicrafts, silver jewelry, and Thuja inlaid wood. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 11: Essaouira – El Jadida- Casablanca
First we will have breakfast and leave for Casablanca via El Jadida with lunch at El Oualidia (a special fish dish). Continuation to El Jadida along the Atlantic coast. Arrival in Casablanca. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 12: Casablanca – Med V Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Mohamed V airport in Casablanca. End of our services.
